The Biokinetics procedure:
We begin with an initial assessment consisting of history taking, postural analysis, flexibility and isokinetic strength testing.
We then perform a functional movement analysis with assistance of EMG to determine muscle activation and gait analysis.
Once we’ve determined your needs, we set goals and discuss a plan for going forward.
There after, we begin one-on-one sessions where we focus on specific areas.
This includes:
- warm-up,
- strengthening (including training in our Isokinetic machine and EMS training device)
- ergonomic and functional activities
- education
- gait and stability (proprioceptive) training, and
- stretching
A maintenance program will also be designed with regular check-up on your condition and exercise progression.
